So you're at that stage
And you've reached that age
When all you really care
Is about driving there
Well we we wish you the best
A Mazal Tov and all the rest
May you drive slowly and safely
Rather than quickly or bravely
We'll be thinking of u
When out of the blue
We see a learner driver
That reminds us of our brother
And now my friends
This short poem ends
We hope u enjoyed it
And didn't avoid it
It's time to say good-bye
We really did try
To challenge the poet
And try not to blow it
It was a bit excessive
And even obsessive
I guess we really shouldn't
And nothing rhymes with 'Cholent'
very nice
i could tell that was peter
for dassi is still at the meter
and yes im driving
and no one is diving
i know this is the poet
so i dont want to blow it
"shapo"!!!!!
New talents are emerging,
In our branches world-wide
(Soon in fame they’ll be submerging?)
Driving, writing; where did you hide?
We are indeed impressed
With the youngest and oldest
Of our clan so dear
(although they are not near!)
Our applauds our loud
We are so proud!
“Cheers” we sound
But there is no crowd…
So from far we will send
Congratulations and wishes to no end
For safe and enjoyable driving, Chad
(Keep it to the road, don’t drive us mad..)
And to you Pete, we say Wow!
That was a work of a pro
(and it is good to know that there is new man for the job
for all future journal adds---- couldn’t find a rhym!)
Oh my, it rather does seem
There are other poets out there,
And so my hopeful dream
With others I will need to share
For me no lasting fame
I can hardly claim to be best,
Although for me this is no game
I need share it with the rest
And so I will say goodnight
Adieus, goodbye and 'Chow',
I think for now that's alright
And nothing else rhymes with 'cow'
